Insulin once a week

Hi there.

Lately I have visited several American endocrine pages that say they have gone to congresses where among other things you are talking about a "new insulin" that instead of being punctured once every 24 hours, is punctured once a week.

As a DM1 patient I click Tresiba more Novorapid and it would not be bad to lower the number of punctures.

If you put "diabetologists" on Instagram, talk about it in your profile.I'm still collecting information.

Does anyone know anything else?

So I have read this type of insulin is more indicated for the control of type 2 diabetes.

In type 1 diabetics it causes more hypoglycemia except if you have a "very stable diabetes", which does not exist.
