Hello everyone!

I had registered for a long time, asked some questions and very kindly answered me.I read you every week although without entering the account for a long time.I've been wanting to enter and nothing, impossible.I don't even receive the mails to recover password, so I made a new one.It was Magucha, now I am Maguina, I hope this does not cause problems. If I achieve access to the other, I delete one of the two.

I am super nervous because now they put me insulin and ... bufff .... today I was in endocrine consultation, two hours literally with the nurse.Error (as always), I don't have electronics medication (tomorrow more turns). And, looking online (I know it should not be done), it seems to me that it put me a very high dose of insulins, with the hypoglycemia that I have without treatment .... the truth that I am ac *** nothing 🤦🏻‍♀️.My case is that almost all of the pancreas 5 years ago.Until now I had no diabetes figures (although a lot of ups and downs), but in my controls I was seeing that glucose rose me more and more. The other day I was wrong, he gave me to look and I was in 400. I just had a review on Friday, I called Endo and they put me for today. He had glycosilada (August 5) 7.8%.It puts me 22u from Toujeo and 6-6-6 of Apidra (it sounds like a bit to Chino 😅🤦🏻‍♀️).I know that each case is different, that I do not have a diabetes of the most common ... Peeeero, I am very afraid.

They told me that they would put a sensor but I have to wait a course that has no date, although I know more or less how they are used, I put it on my own a few times, especially to travel, on the issue of hypoglycemia, at least it warns me.

Let's see what I do ... It seems to me that I will start with a lot less dose because of the fear that gives me 🤦🏻‍♀️🙈😅😭😭😭

I am very sorry for the tostón.Greetings to all and thanks for being there, even if you don't know it or realize you a lot every week ❤️

@Maguina: It is important that you start with the dose that the endocrine has scheduled. If you make changes before having tried the dose that you have told you the only thing you are going to get is to line the team that serves you.Depending on the results, they will pay you the changes.

What you have to be very clear is how to trace a hypoglycemia that your nurse will surely have explained.

Cheer up!

I imagine that at least you have reactive strips.

Doctors do not risk hypoglycemia, surely the dose they have told you, it is fine or a bit short.

He insists on sensors and courses to learn self -control.

You can also seek help in diabetes associations in your area.

The most important thing is to learn. That is the key to your future.

Good luck companion.

Hello! Thanks for answering.Yes, I have long since I have been with hypoglycemia since I took the pancreas, hence my fear ... there is no other than learning ... I had to go to the head doctor so that I put the treatment in the recipe, that my endocrine always tells me that it puts it and never is, and he told me that if I was so distrustful that it was little by little, that it was not going to be so serious to wait a little more.Consult, so quieter, really.

Thanks for taking the time to read and answer. All the best!

@Maguina, see slowly if you are afraid of the dose, control the first days. You are increasing to wake up around 100, without giving you nightlife.

It varies from one in a unit insulin, first adjusts the slow one.Wait two days to make another change.

If you have strips, get controls when you wake up, go to bed and before and after meals.

Points hydrates, fast doses and controls.

You learn little by little.

For drops, zumitos or cocacola or glucose pills, but controls how much you need. With the sensors you will see it better.Do not be afraid of hypos, which with Toujeo date back to very little.

This is a matter of patience and every day learn a little more ...

Much encouragement. The treatments are advancing and everything will become easier.

In the end I started as they told me, I thought that if I don't trust it badly. And as I expected, the night from Thursday to Friday was terrible, I couldn't go back.I ended up at the health center at 3 in the morning, with whey in vein until morning.I called the endocrine consultation, as they told me, and they changed my guideline. Now I'm a little high but that worries me less.

Thank you very much for your help.

All the best!
