Hello everyone:

I start this issue for my wife.Recently they changed the rapid insulin from Novorapid to Fiasp de slow uses Toujeo. The thing is that with Novorapid (3u) and Toujeo (21u) everything was normal, you already know some hypo, some peak but everything under control.Well, with fiasp + toujeo this seems like a roller coaster. There seems to be a way to control the peaks, it seems that one annulled to the other so we are continuously reading glycems and putting additional injections of FIASP and of course in a permanent nerve state with which the control is even more difficult.

Has any of you had something similar?

Is the pharmacy explanation that since there is no novorapid "wealthy" fiasp?

By the way we are from Guadalajara, I say so in other areas of Castilla - La Mancha or Spain, the supply of insulins is different or if everything is a Chinese story to tangle people.

I changed my spring to me from novorapid to this spring, and I do better as I don't have to click in advance to get good results.

Looking for medications with supply problems: LinkMore Fiasp problems come out than a novorapid. At least in feathers.

I don't know what kind of diabetes your wife has.But it seems a bit decompensated the rapid and basal doses because I use Fiasp (6-4-4) and Lantus (9).More fast than basal

It is normal.Fiasp peak very fast and lasts very little in the body, 1.5 hours, as the digestion does not cover then you go up.A roller mountain.

It didn't work for me and I returned to Novorapid with my toujeo.

I use the same units as your woman, 20 units of Toujeo and meals according to rations.

Lada enero 2015.
Uso Toujeo y Novorapid.

I am doing well with Fiasp, I've been using it for many years.

You will have to adjust the doses, as long as you change insulinas you have to do it.

Thanks for your contributions.

Today we had consultation and have changed us to Novorapid. We hope that we return to normal.

The truth is that each change is a tremendous adaptation effort.
