Travel with diabetes
Hello!
I want to travel through Costa Rica and I would like to know the experience of other diabetics: what do they carry on the road, how do they prepare and with what do they supply?
Because apart from the glucometer, the wound healing cream and the phytocomplex for diabastic diafastics, I have not prepared anything, and soon I have to leave.

Well, be double insulin feathers, a lot of needles, 3 sensors, 2 glucometers, 100 strips, 20 lancets ....

@Luvi in the pharmacy anyone who starts by cycl.I use it for the scars of the operation, but they must be closed before using it.
You can also buy blastimulin.This is to close and protect the skin from infections.I am doing well for the falls of the bike and the scrapes.

Good, I went a few years ago, important, insulin, even being the reserve with you, nothing to put it in the cellar, it spoils you, I spent 12 days out and I took 3 quick and 3 roads of basal, a lot of anthemosqiitos, sensors at least 2 apart from the post and .. In my case I lasted 2 days on the humidity of 99% makes the little viable glue I would put a wading.And medical insurance just in case.
And above all enjoy a lot!

I do not know if I arrive on time ... it seems fundamental to me, not because of diabetes although I think it is another reason, to make a travel medical insurance.Normally nothing happens, but if it happens and you are not sure you are given ... if it is within Europe it is worth the European health card, but if it is a country without agreement with Spain ... Puffff ... you can get into a fat mess ...
