How to inject insulin with one hand
Good morning,
I am going to have surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome, and I don't know what mobility I will have with my hand after the operation.
Could someone give me some advice on how to inject insulin from a pen with one hand?(Put the needle, the units...).
I accept suggestions!

You said it, put a needle, units and then stick it into the skin, hit the plunger and that's it!!that easy
I have sometimes managed to crush my arm (making a kind of pinch) with the frame of a door.Then, with my free hand, I click normally.It's a bit convoluted, but it's the only way I could think of 😅

I always only use one hand, except threading the needle.But to thread, ask for help if you don't live alone.

Try placing the insulin pen on a stable surface like a table, use your non-surgical hand to pull up the pen cap and set the dose
I always put it on with one hand, on my leg.
