November 14 is a special day for all of us who live, in one way or another, with diabetes.
A day to look back and recognize the path we have traveled, to thank those who accompany us and to remember that no one should feel alone in this.
During these years, I have learned that information, empathy and company are as important as insulin or medication. That sharing experiences, doubts or small achievements can make a difference in someone's life.
Therefore, this month I want to recommend something very special: the book“Living with diabetes: The power of the online community”.
I do not mention it as a simple reading, but asan open door to better understand what it means to live with diabetes—both for those who have it, and for family, friends or partners who want to truly accompany.
Each story, each testimony, each reflection that appears in the book reminds us of the value of being together, of supporting each other and of learning from each other.
And, furthermore, book sales help keep this forum alive, a space free of advertising and full of real people sharing their daily lives.
So if you haven't read it yet, this month is a good time to do so.
Read it, share it, give it as a gift.Because understanding diabetes is a way to take care of each other.đź’™
