Questions app's

Here I am again 🙈🤦🏻‍♀️, I'm sorry for being such a pain. The thing is that I am constantly reading about apps that are not the official ones for the sensors (in my case the freestyle app) and I have no idea about the advantages.I search the Google app store and I can't find the ones you use.So, the questions:

-What advantages do they have?

-Where can I download them to try?

I have an Android 15 and I'm not a crack at technology...

Once again, thank you for being there. You have no idea how much this forum helps me, I don't have anyone close to me who knows anything about diabetes who can help me outside of health services.

If it's already working fine for you, I recommend that you don't install them. They tend to interfere with the operation of freestyle and ruin its autocalibration.

I have librelinkup which is an official app that is in playstore that is used to be a follower of someone (parents with db children for example). In my case, I am a follower of myself and that helps me to be able to see my blood glucose on my watch. For this I do have to have xdrip and watchdrip (they are apk, not an app, that is why they are not in playstore) and it depends on the watch, the corresponding watch app.

It's going well for me, and if I'm doing sports, driving, working without being able to stop, I don't have to take out my phone but look at the clock and that's it.

Thank you!!

Okay, @meginer, now it's clear to me, they are not apps, thank you!!

@Sherpa41, very well I didn't read, or I think I read, that with the unofficial ones you can calibrate, that was why, to try.But if it interferes...pufff...I don't know if the remedy will be worse than the disease...

If it only goes badly for you on the 1st day or at most the first 2 days, don't try them.I tried them and in my case the remedy was much worse than the disease, plus they are quite complex to use and even more complex to calibrate correctly.

and I have readwhich lately no longer even work with most sensors.

Try to limit yourself to official Apps or those that do not connect directly to the sensor.

@Maguina I use Diabox.

I made a mistake with the last sensor and started it with the Frrestyle application, instead of the reader, which is what I have been doing for years, and I have to say that it does not interfere with me.I have the data in Diabox via bluethooth and also in FreeStyle.

FreeStyle doesn't work well for me, it measures very irregularly, sometimes it is close to reality and other times far away.It has no pattern.

Diabox is not that difficult, it is installed, it is paired via NFC the same as Freestyle, and the only complicated thing, which is not so complicated, is entering the capillary values to calibrate.

Of course, Diabox is downloaded from Telegram and it is true that it fails with Android 15 and higher, and with sensors whose serial numbers start with 301 or others. It's not my case so I continue using it.

Lada enero 2015.
Uso Toujeo y Novorapid.

Thanks, @Ruthbia!

It also measures me irregularly.

And I get a problem that stays stuck and doesn't show any signs of life for about an hour. They told me that it is due to very abrupt variations. But it seems to me that I am not going to solve this with any external program....

My phone is Android 15. The sensors, the truth is that I didn't look at the serial number.

Thank you very much for the info. All the best!

Does diabox work for you with the libre 2 +?
Does anyone have a new version of Diabox installed?

It worked very well for me, because it sang my glycemic data to me while I did sports, through a wireless headset.
