Do you mean the main page?When you enter the forum they showautomaticallythe topics with recent comments, then those that have received likes, then those recently viewed and then the ranking... at the end of this rotation it stops at the recent comments and the view is no longer changed.
You can stop the change at any time, you just have to click or touch the option you want to stay on.
