Hello,

As a patient-user of a Ypsopump I must say that it is a very good insulin pump and that there are concepts that can be improved of course, such as the connection via catheter with a tube that gets hooked at many times and involves changing the catheter and disconnecting the closed loop system, for me, it is the highlight, for the rest, a good INSULIN MICROINFUSER.

On the other hand, have you received an email from Ypsomed indicating that they will stop sending reservoirs?

My endocrinologist tells me that he is not going to prescribe cartridges because at the end of the year, the laboratories intend to withdraw them from the market... what are you going to do?

I have received the update and have carried out said update. Regarding the reservoirs, I would like to think that the change to plastic cartridges, Novo, has suspended it and they will continue with the glass cartridges like the ones they sell now...

Regarding the issue of cartridges, Ypsomed tells me that the suspension of the reservoirs that were already scheduled for replenishments of orders is being directed because the supply of NovoRapid PumpCart cartridges in pharmacies has normalized "a little", but that if there are problems getting them...let's contact them and they can send us reservoirs to continue with the therapy.

Hello Silvia, yes, we have received both the reservoir email and the CamAPS FX update notice.As for reservoirs, I have been doing searches and unfortunately Novo Nordisk will withdraw the Pumpcart presentation at the end of this year, the pens and some 10ml vials will remain, which as long as there is no other presentation of ultra-rapid insulin, they will be the ones we will have to use and at the moment there is none.The moment another ultra-rapid insulin appears from another laboratory or the price problem ofLyumjev, I will ask for the change, (Rome does not pay traitors).As for the update, it doesn't go well for me, it disconnects frequently and every now and then a message appears saying that the Pump is passing data to the application, also when it comes to adding the HC it takes a long time, it fails and even a message appears saying that it doesn't know if the requested amount of insulin has been added.Tonight has been crazy for no reason, it has gone to 300 and auto mode flat without going up to rescue.In order not to take too long, if you haven't updated, wait and if you have, keep an eye on it, for my part I'm going to call Ypsomed this morning to see if this is a matter of my Infuser//Application or it's a matter of the update.By the way, in my case I have IPhone and Freestyle 3 +.
