How many strips do they give you from social security?Approximately how many do you use daily?

Good morning!

Approximately how many test strips do you use per month? And how much do they give you from social security?

The family doctor prescribed only 50 test strips for me. (They don't even give me enough for 2 measurements a day.) But I prick myself 6-8 times a day to measure.Total 180-240.4-5 packs of test strips per month are worth it to me.I bought the ones from Sinocare since I don't understand why the social security companies sell them for 19.99 euros for 50 test strips, but without a prescription they wanted to charge me more than 50 euros for a bottle of 50.Having sugar would be synonymous with nouveau riche or something similar, apparently.Anyway...... But do they give you sensors? With the sensors I use about 2-3 strips a day, the insurance gives me 50 for 3 months which obviously does not reach me and I do like you, I buy the Sinocare ones.

In fact, it's been a long time since I passed on the insurance companies, when I go to look for them they always give me a bad face and problems.

En 1922 descubrieron la insulina, en 1930 la insulina lenta. ¿Que c*** han hecho desde entonces?

No, sensors neither, for now at least. At the moment I buy them privately. They only gave me 50 test strips for one month.Anyway......I don't know why the truth is, I don't know if it's the city, the doctor, or what, but hey.And that's why I wanted to know more or less what the rest of you are wearing approximately.Let's see if it's normal or not.

Without sensors they should give you 600 strips for 3 months if you are T1D.With sensors they give me 50 strips for 3 months.I buy Onetouch, this time from a pharmacy in Portugal, 100 strips 36 euros with something.
