I would like to know what the general level is among DM1 in terms of knowledge of the possible benefits that the administration of peptide C together with insulin could bring us, from what I am looking at on the networks it is a little hopeful, it is not the cure...but oh well.If someone controls these investigations more, it would be good if they could inform us a little.Thank you.

Seeing the little interest that is produced around the proposed topic, I am going to leave the link to a video, without further ado...

I have 2.78 but I have not yet been clearly diagnosed with dm1, I am waiting for a counteranalysis, since the Anti GAD only gave 11.12 (the scale says it is positive >10, very fair. I have read that those of you who are diagnosed have thousands or even 10 thousands in this value).Mine may come to nothing, or not.

If I am finally positive, I will add my values.

What I do have is type 2 and I have been taking ADO for 1 year with very good results along with diet and more or less constant exercise.HbA1c 5.5 the last one (although another laboratory gave 5.0)

Hello, as far as I know, C-peptide does not have any therapeutic or functional role for the body.It is like a kind of byproduct that is produced in the insulin synthesis process.

The pancreas creates the so-called proinsulin, which is subsequently divided into insulin and peptide C so that there is a direct relationship in the amount of insulin "in circulation" with that of this small protein, which is the peptide. This singularity is used to measure the real level of insulin in the blood which, as we know, in type 1 diabetics is usually very low, almost non-existent.As I say, if it has any functional specification for the organism, I don't know.

In the last analysis they did, this marker showed an amount of 0.2 when normality is between 3.9 to 8.1, so my pancreas actually produces a very small amount of proinsulin, which will later be divided into insulin and C-peptide.

Greetings.

That's very high, a lot of insulin.I have 0.15 as a T1D and in the debut 1.5 or something like that, well below the minimum

Let's see what the counteranalysis gives me, but I'm not very optimistic

An antibody is like mathematics, if it has been detected it means it is there, and if it is there...sooner or later I get into trouble, get on with it these days I am reading a lot here and there and it seems that it could even be many years...10?

I'm not even alive anymore!!!Ha ha ha
