You can now access Diabetes Forum with your Google account

We have incorporated a new option to make access to Diabetes Forum easier and faster: now you can register and log in using your Google account directly.

When choosing“Continue with Google”, you will not have to create or remember a specific password for the forum. Google will be in charge of verifying your identity and you will be able to access it with a few clicks.

👉Important: If you link or create your account using Google Sign-in, you will then need to use “Continue with Google” to log in to Diabetes Forum. You will not be able to access by entering username/email and password in the traditional way.

If you ever try to log in with a password and it doesn't work, first check if your account is associated with Google login.

🔒 Diabetes Forum only receives from Google the basic information necessary to identify your account and manage access. We do not have access to your Google password.

We hope that this new option makes entering the forum a little easier and more comfortable. 😊

Update: You can use the forum username/password again whenever you want, if you have connected your username with Google you have an option to disconnect.

FromProfile → Update ProfileNow you can see if your Google account is connected and, if you want, easily disconnect it.

To prevent you from being left without access to the forum, before disconnecting Google we will ask you to establish a new password. From that moment on you will be able to log in again using your username/email and that password.

Disconnecting does not delete your account, profile, messages or any content. Only the method you use to access Diabetes Forum changes.

This way you always have control to decide if you prefer to access with Google or return to the traditional system. 👍
