You have the C peptide as I or so.Out of curiosity, what level of antibodies did they come out? I ask why I have a presence of GAD65 in 6 IU/ml but they say it is not positive. From what I understood with that pancreatic reserve they ruled out me as it is normal.

Well, I think it came out 2000, it can be, positive positive.I would have to look to confirm.
Welcome @Miryfb80.Being lada is a bit disconcerting, the pancreas comes into action when you want and how you want.At first I entered the forum and hallucinated what I read because it was different from what I lived. Now the same things happen to me as others, the forum served me to anticipate what it is to live without producing insulin.

Wow ... if they are high, but the pancreatic reserve is good and last. And thanks to you Miriam, who are already helping everyone in the forum sharing your experience.

Welcome compi 😊.If you can, sign all the diabetes courses that give in your hospital or wherever they treat you.Training is the most important.
I had planned to sign up for the Madrid Diabetics Association, I have to inform myself more, but the same thing to start is not bad.Now all doubts are in everything, little by little the thoughts will focus, I say.
Today I have gone to my endocrine. He told me that DM1 in a honeymoon state, but he didn't know how to say how long it could last, but that he would need both slow and fast, that the thing was going to worse, in short. It is what we have had to live and there are worse autoimmune diseases, bad of many ..... it is already known. They have to call me from the diabetes unit of my hospital to start learning, as it says salad, when I come at least I will have something learned. It has also told me about the nasal glucagon, I have gone to the pharmacy and € 106, the SS does not cover it, only to less than 18. For now I have not bought it, when the thing gets ugly I will get with one. Many thanks for everything.
@Miryfb80, you will learn little by little, it is a lucky to have a long honeymoon to adapt you.The sensors now help a lot to get good control, you'll see that it will be easy for you to get a good glycosylated. Welcome to the forum.
Hija de 35 años , diabética desde los 5. Glico: normalmente de 6 , pero 6,7 la última ( 6,2 marcaba el Free) Fiasp: 4- 4- 3 Toujeo: 20
The glucagon is assumed, you don't put it on.There is glucagon in syringes, that of a lifetime.Buy that if the SS covers it, and teaches people from your environment to use it.But most likely they are expired in the fridge ... 😊
Thank you Regina, we will see how long it lasts, in principle I have a pecid of 2.4 but the endo did not tell me how much it could last. Juan Solo, the theme of the nasal glucagon is because of the ease with which he puts himself, the other until you prepare it and others give me a fear of just thinking about it. Greetings and thanks!

The glucagon is preloaded, you don't have to load anything, just put it as insulin and that's it.Anyway, it is already difficult with the sensors to have a fat hypic that you need the glucagon, putting the alarm of hiccups to the level you need in a way that you whistle and take something orally.Welcome.
The one that has given me in the pharmacy you have to mix, the liquid of the syringe with a boat with powders, remove them and then inject it, I will try to get one like the one you say, thank you very much for the info. And thanks for the welcome.
Welcome @Miryfb80.The description of your beginnings reminds me of mine, a few more years ago.You are in this forum, the best place to learn and above all feel that you are not alone with this, that it is not little. Fortunate also, because of that area where you live, where you can surely find the best hospitals and the best learning. The glucagon, what some members have commented, at first we believe it essential. Then, after long seasons without using it and discarded by expiration, we put it aside. In any case, with the sensors we have immense help, and before any hiccup, something orally.
@Miryfb80 calm, with that peptide C you will be more than 2 years without rapid insulin.I was lada with 1,7 peptide and I spent 20 months without fast insulin, only slow at night. He took care of food and exercise.
At first they gave me light hypos, I had to lower the basal, from 12 that I came out of emergencies to 6, I controlled them with glucometer until I bought the sensor.
In the Association of Diabetics of Madrid they do many activities, but in my opinion very focused on children, for adults not so much.Although I am not going, I'm still a partner.
Welcome @Miryfb80 I am Lada since 2018. At the beginning everything seems impossible but then the acceptance comes. As I learned in my therapy, accepting does not mean that we like it.Take it as we do not do diets, we eat healthy. In Argentina at the beginning, the Sanofi laboratory offers an educator, nutritionist for us, to guide you in the count.I had a genia !!!Do not exceed more than 60 grams of carbos by intake (just eating pizza and pasta I get to that) I will be a lot of water and exercise.Use 18 U of toujeo and fast counting.I have morning hypos but that is me and the genius of my diabetology achieved that they are reduced. We are not equal to those who do not suffer from this but we can with this.At your disposal.
