Yes. They spoil. Insulin in use is not necessary to put it in a fridge.In summer either, with not the Sun directly, or leave it inside a car parked, endure without problems. They are designed to withstand the temperature of the human body for a long time of use.

@Silviagrz I use cold wallet and I also have one with gel that must be previously frozen. When it is very hot, they do not condense water, the roads do not get wet.
