Hello everyone!

A recent advance has been published that has really made us reflect.

This is a new study conducted in mice has thrown light on how diabetes could be connected to the development of Alzheimer's disease, something that touches us closely. And what they have discovered is quite revealing.

According to this study, there are ways to reduce Alzheimer's risk while maintaining our diabetes under control or, better yet, avoiding it from the beginning. This sounds hopeful, right?

The idea is that by taking measures to control our diabetes, we could prevent or at least stop the appearance of dementia symptoms associated with Alzheimer's.This comes directly from Narendra Kumar's words, an expert in the subject from Texas A&AP University; m.

The research team has focused on how our diet can influence both diabetes and Alzheimer's.They have discovered that a high fat diet can cause a specific protein in our intestine, called Jak3, to express itself less.

And it turns out that this protein is quite important. In the mice that lacked it, a chain of inflammation was unleashed that began in the intestine, continued by the liver and reached the brain, showing symptoms similar to those of Alzheimer's.

But here comes the good news: this inflammatory process could stop. As?

Carrying a healthy diet and controlling our blood sugar levels from the beginning.

This is especially significant for those of us in the prediabetes stage, since adopting changes in our lifestyle could now reverse prediabetes, avoid moving forward to type 2 diabetes and, potentially, reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer's.

We are in this together, and share information like this helps us better understand how we can take care of each other and ourselves.

What do you think?

Have you made changes in your diet or lifestyle you want to share?
