Good afternoon! I just registered in the forum looking for advice because I do not understand the results of my measurements and despairs and worries me. I have gestational diabetes, well controlled and for now without insulin.I send the results by mail to the educator nurse. The fact is that I would like to know, if someone knew, why eating the same on consecutive days I had a bad result: Yesterday I had 4 pieces of vegetable pizza, which I know does not rise and gave me 115 (what I expected) Today my perfect fasts in 83, perfect breakfast in 100 and something.Apple lunch, nuts and Greek yogurt with chocolate of 72 .. which in theory is all low glycemic index. Total that at 3 h later, the same pizza of yesterday that was over, same portions, all equal and result 150 (my maximum is 140 to be gestational diabetes) And I don't understand how eating the same portions exceeds the limit. If I don't tolerate him, shouldn't I always go wrong? In both cases, I did not exercise later but I moved home doing things.
If someone could help me, I would appreciate it very much.
Good afternoon, I don't know if it's advice, I tell you, but in diabetes 2+2 they are never 4.
I do not know how gestational diabetes is going, but the type 1 will never have the same results eating the same because many other factors influence (time, glucose level, stress ...)
That said, I would recommend limiting carbohydrates (eating pizza I don't know if it's most appropriate) and wishing you luck with your state.
In diabetes, not everything is to control the carbohydrates that you eat Link Anyway do not overwhelm! No person with diabetes has two days equal. You will see that everything will go well and if you have doubts, ask without fear of the health personnel that attend you
Pufff The Mystery of Diabetes. In your case it can be for the hormonal load, for fatigue, for a thousand things. Don't give him more, do what your nurse tells you and enjoy.A bad day does not suppose much, the bad is when it stays over time.
