A couple of weeks ago I commented that from time to time I feel itching that leave the scale on the legs and did not know if I kept some kind of relationship with diabetes.
Well, a few days ago they reappeared, but now in my arms, and I still have no idea why it can be. When that feeling begins, I only feel relief when I scratch my nails and feature my skin. Then the itching calms down. To not get to that point I scratch myself very carefully with a rib saw, that calms me a lot, but I think that is not the solution.
Does anyone know if this is another complication of diabetes?

Greetings.
Picores are a high glucose symptom ... it can be that. Or it can be why the skin is a bit dry, get out moisturizer. If not to the dermatologist.
That was the first thing I thought, but I am currently being controlled blood glucose:
It occurs to me that it could be a consequence of half a life as a diabetic.I heard once that diabetes also destroys nerve endings and precisely neurons that send to the brain that sensation are in the epidermis and are called pruritogenic nociceptors. He had thought that if a consequence of diabetes is the destruction or collapse of the capillaries that feed these neurons then everything square.
They can be many. You have to go to the specialist. If it is a type of neuropathy, they have to put it treatment, before there was nothing. But many new medications are coming out.
Are you supposed to have no stains of any kind? The elbows have them well and you don't have a very dry outer part, as excited. In the head you don't have a little dandruff that you improve ...

NOPIn the skin I have no spots of any kind and it is true that the elbows and knees I have well. I think the cause is nothing that happens to the skin but everything begins and ends in the feeling of itching.I want to say that there is no physical cause that produces that itching. When it starts in the calves I can get to scratch to my foot. The more I scratch me, the more it bites me.As I say, I just feel some relief when, after scratching myself, I lift my skin something and then there I watered hydrogen or alcohol directly. That hurts, but the pain covers the itching very well.
