Do you have the same endocrine doctor when you get the semiannual or annual review?

I have always believed that having the same specialist is the ideal for me to know me and as it happens in primary care, I have a header, a nurse, who know me for 15 years minimal and when I go to consultation they treat me not toYou, but as if it were the family.

But instead with the endocrine, the first one I had retired with me and the following were jumping.

But 3 years ago I had an endocrine, the following year another and this November 2023, but well, I thought for me that it is this!

At no time have I requested a doctor's change and on top of that they only see my diabetes 1 time because I don't know how to take it .....

Does this happen to you?

Or have I had bad luck?

Thank you!!

My daughter, in HUCA, has the same endocrine for 4 years, a na young girl.
They would be retiring .., I think you can choose who you want your doctor to be, although there may be transfers or substitutions .., anyway your history is collected.

These last 3 years have touched 3 different young endocrine. The truth is that I feel abandoned, because these specialists have never asked me how I am carrying mine, everything is very automatic.I'm about to go privately to see if they serve me better, I don't know whether to do health insurance ....

@Pyrri
I always have the same endo and also everything is very automatic.Appointment of 10 minutes a year, comment that the analytics is fine and that's it.
It is true that I carry it very well, I do not know if it were wrong if the thing would be different, but they have thousands of patients and everything goes very fast.
Private health insurance with pre -existing diabetes I doubt that they do it ...

Well, how lucky do you have ... Well, I changed hospital because they recommended a very good doctor for gestational diabetes, and I have been tracking. He who is head of the service and his attached also great ...
But for two visits (I'm going every 3 months) I have touched new doctors ... and I don't doubt they are efficient. But they do not have the same follow -up of the case ... and between reads over to catch up and such ... the consultation is not the same.I feel a little that although he is involved and the attention is good, the monitoring of my case is not adequate, and for my goal, I am wasting time ...

For the account that throws me when I go, the truth is that I almost do not care who is.

Look at the computer, I renew the recipes and see you later.

If I ask him something, well.If not, or ask me how I am.It is only guided by free data (which are usually falsified).

Difficult that the same endocrine touches me (the only two times that he has seen me, but that was in 2019) when he discharged me and how I have good control (you see the last glyc ... I always walk around and that and thatIt's good control ...) they don't send me ...
