DM2 diagnosticada 10/11/23, hipotiroidismo, obesidad y algunas otras tonterías :# Actualmente tomando 2 comprimidos de Metformina 850 mg. Eutirox 75. Simvastatina 20 mg. Obesidad tipo II.
I used liraglutida as a year and a half next to metformin and janumet (I do not remember the compound of this), this by indication of my endocrinologist to help me with weight, triglyceride and glycosylated hemoglobin. He helped me with blood tests for a while but did not help me with weight and at the same time they stopped seeing the positive effects on the exams.
I think it depends a lot on each person and how it reacts to medications and only see it with your endocrinologist and see if it gives you results.

These treatments are a patch, a solution valid especially for pharmaceuticals since they are not subsidized and each treatment, I think that for a month it ranges over 300 euros.I think you get some weight but it is clear that this is not a solid solution for DM2.The chocolate of the parrot ...

Those injections in my case "Trulicity" and "Ozempic" take away hunger (Saxenda belongs to the same group), but as you do not make diet and sport they are worthless. As you suffer from anxiety and nerves you load everything, because you are not able to lose weight, the only good thing is that you keep your weight or if you fat 2 kilos in 1 year. The worst side effects, every day with diarrhea, weekly punctures attack the digestive system ....

Hello good!I recommend it to you.It was impossible for me to lose weight with diets.etc. for the anxiety it gave me.I recommended the endocrine and cardiologist Saxnda. What struck me most was that they did not put diet or exercise or anything. The medicine was in charge of changing my habits when eating.I lowered almost 12 kg in just over a month and in total almost 30kg in approx 3 months.Hugs!Joan

@Pyrri years ago I suffer from depression although a little less than a year ago I decided to stop taking the medication (with medical supervision) since I did not notice some positive enough effects to be tied to that life for life.Less pills and more psychological treatment, but there friend fell the invention, you have to pay.Medicines you want, that there is the business and pasta for pharmacists, but expand the staff of mental health professionals to treat patients that do not, that there is no business.Anyway, what was said.Much mood mate!
@Joangide The truth is that an acquaintance recommended it but seeing such prices and side effects I prefer to spend that money on eating well within my possibilities and renewing my sportswear costumes. In my humble opinion, lowering both weight and you went down in such a short time cannot be healthy.I prefer to go little by little but solidly. It is also that I have no choice.Without shortcuts.By the way, how are you still with that weight loss? Are you still maintaining the weight you lost or have you recovered? What is your maintenance routine?A hug Joan!

Well they are opinions. There are people who leave a paste in specialists, diets, exercises, etc.I was better spent money ... I had a hard time eating healthy and I was overweight that was already affecting my health. No side effect. The very proud and happy truth.I stay in weight.Hug!

Ask any nutritionist if it is possible to go down 36 kilos in 3 months to have what they tell you? These injections do not work for all people and if they work, habits change in such a way that if you leave, you only consume water to eat every day and the body does not ask for food (this is very dangerous).Downloading 12 kilos in a month is a fuck and 30 kilos in 3 months brutal and insane, with which one day you fall to eat some fattening hydrates of the pull 4 kilos in one day. What the medicine does is that it takes hunger (it is the good thing it has and how bad it has), so you eat what is necessary to live and you end, no starches, and only put some vegetables and enough protein (which satisfies a lot), you lose a lotThat you have lost you again and even go up and say it because it has happened to me ... and many people who are not diabetic who have always made diets know that as it goes down a lot in a very short time it will gain itYes or yes, double or more.If not as you think there is so much epidemic of obesity. In addition, even if you correct your diet, as you continue to make sedentary life there will come a time that is impossible to lose weight and the injections will not serve you and you will return to the state of the before, to a vicious circle.

Hello, if you want information, I inform you of what I have done in 2 years, with these injections, which are not as much panacea as they seem. All the best.
