Good, I would like to comment, they have to perform an ordinary test (colonoscopy) but when they are with sedation, or anesthesia they need to fulfill guidelines by the patient (like any type of intervention) with it by using anesthesia, it requires to make a complete help for a whileBefore the process, and of course this diabetic can have inconveniences that non -diabetics do not have, to be fasting one day, for example, or not take absolutely anything 8 hours before, etc. problems may arise in case of hypoglycemia.
Anyway, as a known endocrine said, on one occasion "" No one said that being diabetic was easy ""

No problem. You lower the basal and the day of the test, in case of hiccups, sugar shots, it does not interfere with anesthesia or with the test.
I did it in my last surgical intervention

Lada enero 2015.

When you undergo minor surgery such as Colonoscopias it is not necessary for you to stop eating something light about 3 to 4 hours before or drink water 2h as a maximum before a surgical intervention the protocol is said, because the stress and the stay of theSurgical intrancishes

And the anesthesiologist suspends surgery as long as your glucose levels are above 180 mg/dl
