Hello good,

Type 1 diabetic.

I don't know if someone was in a similar situation on occasion.

I am traveling. The Free Style 2 sensor that I wear just fails me (he still had 7 days).

I just put the one who spare and, my good luck, fails !!

I usually travel with the standard glucometer but this time I forgot.

So ... I'm ... "annoyed" to put it soft ...

Out of my community I doubt that they give me a sensor in health center, right?

And today festive, to complicate it more.

It is that I can only, pharmacy and € 65 in a new one.Nice joke ...

All the best!!

Already ... my idea was to go to a health center to tell them my sorrows.
As a rule I suppose they will go from me and being festive, even more.

Yes, I spent a year paying it until my endocrine finally validated the sensor.

@tone7 @marine I have paid it for 4 years and in my case we made a lot of effort to buy them and when something happened, it was a drama ...
That is why I comment, that if you have it validated in your CCAA, maybe where you are give you one ... or ... (I speak from ignorance). We can also fall, get bad on vacation and let's go even elsewhere ...
The control is vital in our case. It's not for pleasure ...

Yes, where are you?

I am in Gran Canaria!
I tried the sensor in pharmacies, health and hospital center and there was no form.Neither paying or without paying.

In the end, glucometer and strips!

Thank you all!

By the way, to say that while looking for a sensor by health centers a girl heard my sorrows and told me that she had one left over.He went home for him and gave me without more.He didn't want money or anything.Always grateful to that girl !!!

But as a cluster of misfortunes, I put it on and scan: "His sensor does not work. Change it" and then chorreton of blood by the arm.
It had never happened to me.I don't know where I signed up with the sensor but started bleeding well.
