Good morning to all!

New in the forum, of the province of Castellon, age 38, debut in style at age 21 and without a history in the family."What will this boy who is so thin and drink so much ??"To the head UCI that I left!Neither honeymoon nor naaaa .... hehehej

I just released two days ago with contiunos free style free 2 meters, and I am more lost than an octopus in a garage.I am the typical case, that the diabetes is carried by the header for years and years (if the glycosiladas do well ... so that you want us to derive ... they tell me)

At the moment, I see quite a few differences with respect to the capillaries (ACCU check guide me), and what the Free Style free2 throws2, despite taking into account the difference that the patch carries a delay of about 10 min.I am very late of technology with that accu check glucometer ??hehe sure yes ...

Anyway, I stay here learning from all

Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and experiences, a pleasure !!

Hello sweet and welcome !!

In theory, the Accouck Guide glucometer is very reliable to me, it exceeds the current quality standard of 15% of maximum difference. They publish that they are within 10% according to the accuracy tests they perform.

I would not know how to tell you if Freestyle meters are more exact (I suppose it is your question), in theory they also walk around the 10% margin of error according to their own tests.

Thank you very much Karl85!

Little by little I am observing that before scenarios where glucem is more stable (and taking into account the delay of one respects the other), both meters seem to be quite even.

Against, if I measure in an abrupt rise situation of the sugar (when for example I have badly adjusted the insulin with respect to what I have eaten), there there seems to be more differences between the two

Thanks for answering!I understand the action guide and guide me, are different glucometers but equally reliable or that at least have no significant differences?

Free Free is orientative, the most reliable is a capillary, with the glucometer that is.
The sensors fail a lot, you have to make a capillary before any decision

Perfect ruthbia, therefore I understand the sensor is more useful in terms of trend (the arrows) than the value received as such?JOPE, I am something disappointed for it, II understand this is the same, but when seeing how one really is, because you have to pull a capillary measurement, to win exactly and safety.

@Dulcerino at the beginning the sensor is not very precise (2 days approx) As it runs out it becomes more precise.Sometimes the measurements will even match the capillary. The truth is that it gives a very peace of mind to take it for the alarms (rarely fails, at least see if you are in a tendency to go down or up).If you sleep on the sensor side and chafas, it usually gives false hypoglycemia, keep it into account and before making a decision to be capillary ...

The Sendor can deviate something and in some cases it fails., Compare from time to time with the capillary
My daughter usually dies of the sensor, about 15 units, so puts the alarm in 50, because if not, she does not sleep.
Look to see how it goes to you, but if the glucosilada of the analytics comes very similar to that of the sensor, we are doing well.

@Dulcerino The trend is reliable. But as I told you, it is orient, it is worth controlling because I know myself, I know how much to correct between certain values that is why I do not tell me 180 that 220, I will use the same units.

Abbott does not have it in its application, but there are others that allow the sensor to calibrate.I use Diabox

I, like @ruthbia, I use Free 2 and Diabox. This app allows you to calibrate, I usually make 3 calibrations the day I install a new sensor and then it already resembles the capillaries that some usually do, because it is quieter. If only for Free 2, tonight I would have spent almost 4 hours in Hip, which is not real.In low it usually measures me about 20u less than a capillary or calibrated diabox.

That yes, then when every 6 months he sees the endocrine, he throws me some bonds of care because he says that I am many times in hiccos, and no matter how much I leave it reflected in the app that reading is not correct, she decides that I have meto lower the basal dose.Thing that, obviously, I do not do any cases because the hypos do not conform to the proven reality.

@Give thank you very much for your answer.I really like to pot with mobile appliances, video consoles, computers in general, but the truth, that these first days of Free2, I look somewhat overwhelmed, because for now I have only soaked from Diabox's theory and other application options "unofficial. "But for now, I have not decided to take the step, and I continue with the official app and I have linked it for the theme of alarms with my wife's mobile (free view)

The question that if I wanted to move you is as follows: if I decide to take the step to Diabox, for the subject of being ableI finally take the step.(In the few days I carry it, I have already seen that at night I am always in hicc

My fear of taking the step that told you, is that if I get into Diabox, I understand this the Official APP FreeLink, then if then it turns out for example that if my endocrine turns out that he wants to have me controlled through LibreLinkup, how do you do it?Can you work day by day with Diabox, move from the official app and that the data is uploaded to what our endocrine wants to see later?

thank you so much

You can have the two app at the same time and nothing happens.I control mostly with Diabox, but every two or three hours my mobile passed to make readings with LibreLink and reach my doctor.

The important thing is to start the sensor with LibreLink, then at the time you can scan with Diabox and as they tell you, work with both of you, so you can see your data in Libreview. The only thing is that you do not forget to scan with LibreLink at least every 8 hours so as not to lose data.

@Dulcerino
And you will know, I suppose, that the false hypos of the nights are caused by sensor crushing. You move and in two minutes already mark well.

@isabelbota, correct. The false hypos when sleeping on the arm that you have the sensor and crushing it ..... the problem is that of course I stay fried and wiggles me ... Of course, when I wake up it is when I see it.And now to see Colo you explain it to the specialist ..... summarizing: that you lower the dose that you have many nocturnal hypo.Lord, what a cross ... b) b)

Welcome Dulcerino. You are rookie and expert at the same time.I do not understand why they did not derive the specialist before, what absurd!
I use the free without diabox.I have seen the threads on Diabox and it has given me a lot of laziness.I am not prepared yet, at some point I will "bichear."
Your experience will also be very useful, sure.
