Hello, good night, today when measuring glucose before dinner I had 87, following the doctor's instructions I did not put the insulin.After dinner I have 88.
My question is whether I should put the prescribed insulin or I must wait for glucose and what figure.
I am transplanted and I have reduced prednisone a couple of days ago and it is costing me quite a lot to control diabetes.

you must always follow what your doctor says. If at 2 hours of having dinner you were in 88, you did not need insulin as your doctor told you.

A type 2 diabetic has to be in values ​​close to 90-100mg/dl.
A type 1 diabetic, has to be below 180md/dl at 2 hours of having ingested food, and between 80-140 hours, but each doctor prescribes values ​​according to each patient.
