According to the prospect, Fiasp lasts between 3 and 5 hours. Me the nurse told me that this insulin lasts about 4 hours and so scheduled it in the freestyle.

Fiasp lasts about 2- 2.5 hours, novorapid between 3-4 hours.
But each person is different depending on their weight, body fat, age, years of evolution of diabetes, etc.

Lada enero 2015.
Uso Toujeo y Novorapid.

I went from Humalog to Fiasp and the first days I was very happy, it was faster and I had just peaks after eating.

But a couple of months later I am still slow as Humalog and above lasts less, so that I get more and I have to put so many corrections that the recipe never comes.I think I will return to Humalog.:/

Now I understand why some call it Fiasco.

I tried it last year at the Tandem bomb and it didn't last just one day, then I reduced its effect, I had to remove it, it seemed that insulin spoiled

Ultimately it looks like water.Today I have put 40 units of FIASP just to correct a rise at 4 h after eating and does nothing.Keep up.

Yesterday 60 units for a rice plate, when with Humalog with 30, Maximo 40 already covered it perfect.

There are people with a lot of insulin resistance.
In adolescence, with a slow flat put me more than 40 units, I didn't get into the syringe, I had to click twice. They changed me to another brand and put half.

SipA white rice plate or a cup of rice.I have needed 30-40 units of fast units.

Of course, rice is what raises me the most.

For an equivalent pasta dish I need much less.About 20-30 units.

But after a couple of months with FIASP it seems that it has increased.

Yeah.I still have a Humalog box in the fridge, before saying anything to the endo, I will try to return on my own and if I see that I am better, I will say to change.

It works for me.But sometimes it makes strangers: it may once open, its effect deteriorates, but I do not speak of a day, but of the alleged 4 weeks that it has expired since it is put into use.

Joé ... yes it varies ... yes ...
The day I spend a lot, a lot ... that like rice, pasta ... I wear 8unds and sometimes I have to rectify. But with 2-3unds.
What I do get is very slow ... this demoralizes me a lot ...

You may be compensating for meals peaks with an excess of slow. With the FIASP you should not have peaks after meals. At least it keeps me much more stable than with the novorapip.
