Hello good,

I am not very active in the forum but I am following you since I debuted, 15 years ago.
I would like to know if there is someone residing in Berlin. In general, I am happy with my doctor but I think comparing with other people's experiences does not hurt.

All the best,

Hello, do you live in Berlin? If so, I would like to know a little how appointments and insulin therapies are managed there, since I will move to Germany shortly.
Thank you!

Hi, Tess:

I can tell you a little based on my own experience. The health system is managed by public or private mutuals. If you can access a public mutua, then you can choose which one that suits you most. What I know, there is no difference in what you should pay monthly, but from here, there are mutuals that are more or less generous when they offer.
The other aspect is the doctor you choose.I do not know how in Spain today, but here depending on the specialists who provide their services for public and/or private mutuals, you can choose which one to go.Provided they have the capacity to accept you as a new patient.
I don't know what town you are going to move.My advice is that you enter a forum or investigate a bit which doctors have the best assessments. This type of valuation is not always totally reliable, but they will guide you. This point is important because depending on the doctor you will also get more information, more follow -up and you will have more possibility of choosing treatments.
In my case, I spent the first years with an old school doctor who had not been updated in terms of therapies, or intended to do so.So it never stated that things can be improved. On the other hand it was very restrictive in terms of material (reactive strips ..).Until I decided to change and I can't say that it regrets me.I have no problem getting material, to inform myself or to propose changes. He is a fairly informed doctor and also adapts to customer's wishes. That is, I continue with the feathers, but by my own will.If I wanted to move on to a bomb, he would have no problem managing the procedures with the Mutua and in offering me the necessary information.
I hope I have helped you!
