Well, I want to talk about this, about wheat germ.
For 12 days I have begun to take it because I have read that it helps strengthen the immune system and lower glucose values in diabetes.
It is true that I have had hypos these days and from tomorrow and under the basal.
My question is: someone has taken it?How did it go?

Wheat is a cereal, that is, a carbohydrate, I have not tried it but it will need insulin, I imagine.

Vegan food is about not eating anything that comes from animals. So it is usually based on carbohydrates.

Lada enero 2015.
Uso Toujeo y Novorapid.

The wheat germ has some decarbohydrates but quantity of vitamins, iron, proteins, etc.Very interesting.

I take regularly in wheat saved yogurt that has virtually no carbohydrates and is pure fiber.A fiber pass. That's why I just put a spoonful and I don't tell. But I don't abuse because I would be visiting the service all day !!

@Ruthbia yes of course, always insulin
It is a contribution of vitamins, selenium, zinc .. As @jldiazdel says.
And the bran is another good option.
I will continue taking it until the next analytics and I will see if there is any remarkable change
