Is it diabetes or something else?

Hello!
He introduced me: I am a 15 -year -old boy who has been with type 1 diabetes for a while, and today I wantGenerate insulin, or it is another thing that caused all this.

All this began in December last year, I was being admitted to the hospital for having a glucose of 509. Everything during admission was fine, they managed to take my glucose to 250 and they let me go home. But something was not going well in all this.Well, the antibodies had them in 26, and in 2019, which was when they did the analysis of pancreatic anti -cigarette antibodies I had them in 46, and from one year to another they went down instead of climbing. But not everything is good, because my HBA1C was 15.7.But as soon as I returned home my glucose began to return to its normal levels, of course this had a justification. The 14 units of slow and the 6-8 fast units. But it was not over the year and it was already 7 units of slow and 2 quickly at each meal. And it was here that the dangerous hypoglycemia appeared, as such I am to have discrete hypoglycemia, of those that you are 40 and you are so quiet, going around as if nothing without realizing that you are fucking.Well to the case, after seeing so many hypoglycemia, I kept going down the dose until I reached a slow unit, and occasionally a fast unit. With these doses of insulin I used to wake up in the morning with 70 and 80 glucose, and throughout the day my glucose was stable and as such over time I started thinking if I really have diabetes, because in December I suffered problems with the problems with the problems with theBiliary gallbladder, and that is also related to glucose increases. After writing all this I wonder, do I really have diabetes?Well, in March, when I made a blood test again, I had an HBA1C of 5.5.I do not know, I do not seem normal to lower the HBA1C so fast, I could say that they were because of the hypoglycemia that I suffered at the end of December and the beginning of January, but after that time, I did not suffer again hypoglycemia, or hyperglycemia.I currently have 4 units of slow and none quickly, but these higher doses are due to the fact that as the day went by going to the institute, and studying, I usually spend the stressed day, and that's why I had to climb the doses, because for example in Holy Week I was not stressed, and I had to lower doses to 2 slowly.

Anyway, I am something introverted, but that does not imply that I am not going to read and answer the answers, greetings to all those who read this.

hello. It is a bit confusing for me everything you explain. Here in the Forum there are many with many knowledge and almost all willing to help.

But I think that in my personal opinion, the best thing in your case is to review all the history and your current condition with an endocrine specialist.

Good morning @Serb15
First of all congratulations to improve your results, it is not normal.
What you tell is not a bad sign, but of course the endocrine would have to see you.
As they say for the forum, diabetes does not disappear. But it is clear that your case have to do well.
You may be in what is called "honeymoon" and therefore, with little slow insulin that you get and what is still in the pancreas your body works perfectly.
An important thing, have you changed your diet for better?Do you do more sport?
What told you the doctor/endocrine following your last glyc?
There are things that accounts that resemble my case.
In December I gave a glyc of 15.9.
I put 6 units of slow and take metformin and the freestyle calculates a 5.2 glyc (I think it marks under the low, it will be about 5.5-5.6, at the end of the month that make me analytical I will see it).
In my case I find explanation to the descent.
Following the debut I stopped eating flours and sweets (I was unleashed eating sweets because I had quit smoking ...).
I started to exercise daily.Well, I did, but now more intense. And with that and the help of slow and metformin the levels have dropped to normal values.
But of course, the medication is needed.I would be left over if they gave me continuous hypoglycemia, which do not give me.
Also like you, I don't notice if glucose lowers me or if I get on ...
I carry the freestyle sensor and let me know, if not, or find out.

But come on, that in the forum we can give you our opinion but it has to be a doctor who makes you clear what happens to you.And I'm glad that results improvement.
Ask for an appointment if you have not explained anything and tell us.

Hey, in my case I did not make any change of life regarding food and exercise, before being diagnosed, I already used to eat healthy food, and as an exercise, because I really do the same exercise now that before, I went out to walk once a day during30 minutes. Also something to clarify is that before being diabetic he did not consume sugars, refined carbohydrates or things of style. And in any case, our cases have similarness haha;).

You should go to an endocrine and check C peptides again, GAD antibodies and your values.

What happens to you is not so weird. In my first year after the debut, never use fast insulin, only slow and 8 you at night. My reservation covered me, is what we call "honeymoon."They told me that I could even stop needing it for a while. He gave me some hiccups at the beginning for the insulin from there that came out of 12 units scheduled to 8 units and nothing quick.
In two months of debut, a glyc of 13.6 to 6.4 and at the fifth month in 5.5.Now rondo 5.9-6.

From the second year, I needed fast insulin, 2 units/ food and began to notice the effect of hormones.I still use little insulin, according to my endocrine.

I still do not notice the hypos of 35 or 40, the sensor warns me, I for me full of energy and without effects.

Hey, it is interesting that you tell me, I did an analysis again to see how my antibodies were, and now they are at a level of 10 compared before it was 26 :)
