Hello good,

A few days ago I was prescribed a new FIASP Asparta insulin, they have given me a test in replacement of the novorapid which is the one I have been using 5 years, the case is that the needles that the novorapid use are the BD of 5mm while in theFiasp Asparta does not come from compatibility with them if not with others like Novo Flex, Novo Flex Plus ...

In the pharmacy they have told me to try the BD that of the others find nothing or they will not have

Does anyone who use this insulin know if it is compatible?

Thank you so much!

So the BD needles would work in the insulin Fiasp right?

Novorapid and Fiasp are of the same brand or laboratory, so the same needles are worth, you wise that the FIASP is the same as the novorapid with vitamin B3 from there that is faster.

Today the endocrine that are receiving information from jams in needles/canules with FIASP has told me.But the thread is the same, if the box does not say that it is compatible it is because they have not yet commissioned the printing press.

Hello, I think I remember that because of its effect, and the possibility of placing it, 20 minutes or half an hour after eating, the depth should be sought 8 millimeters.Law the prospect for a long time seems to me that this is what he says.

I have always used the 5mm, I spent a while with those of 8 because they gave them to me and they made the aliño the same but they said they were too much for me

I have also heard of Canula's jams, I use it since March 2020 and I have not struck the cannula (now for speaking, I will do it) but that is my case, the same thing I put more amount of insulin or the canulaFrom the pump that use is fatter than those who say that it has happened to them. When they changed it, I looked at the characteristics and ingredients of both are almost the same except for niacinamide (vitamin B3), which increases the speed of theInitial absorption of insulin, and an amino acid to help stability.
