Good afternoon guys.My partner is diabetic1.Yesterday they made a blood extraction to control hemoglobin and today "casually" is bad, very decayed and with tremendous levels after two hours of eating and injected.Not even with the correctors can stabilize today.Do you think yesterday's analysis has to do?Or not?Has anyone had a bad experience with glucose the day before the analytics?Thank you group, a huge hug, take care of all!

@Azy

I don't see the relationship much.They take me from time to time half a liter of blood, because I have very high iron and ferritin and I don't notice anything.In fact I improve in lis controls.Of course, then they put me serum.I do not know how much blood took him out, but in principle he has no relationship.

It may have some stress, because of the tests, that glycemia rises a lot, or has some infection.That affects us a lot

I hope I improve soon!

hello.If it was an extraction only for a blood analytics, it does not have to affect at all.I believe that if glucose levels rise or fall outside the control ranges, you must contact your doctor endocrine to see how to proceed.

They are ovulation hormones.The blood glucose is altered with ovulation and menstruation.In my case I am well the week of menstruate and after ovular, the other two are chaotic.You have to upload all insulin guidelines.

Analytics do not affect blood glucose in general.

Good morning, I am 20 years old with type 1 diabetes and I have never had problems after a glycosylated hemoglobin study, what you should do is to go with your general practitioner and nutritional or endocrinologist specialist to make the adjustment of your insulin doseAnd in his diet.
It is very important that in these times of Covid, we can have normal glucose levels on the issue of Covid.
A few months ago I had an infection in my throat and posterior I was diagnosed with Covid19, which caused my glucose levels to increase to levels that I had never had.
I had to inject a lot of insulin to be minimal at 200s levels, since the infection did not allow me to have a lower level.
That is why I recommend that you go with the doctor to guide you.
greetings.
