now that free2 sends unchanging values and high and low glucose alarms contain the glucose value, any smart watch shows the values from notifications and without any applicationadditional. If you put the alarm low in 100 and the high in 120 every 5 minutes you will be receiving an alarm on the mobile and/or clock with the glucose value and without the need to install any additional application.

To do sports it is fine, why it has you informed you, but for life it is crazy, a message every 5min, 288 messages a day..buff

Well, for day by day I use it, but with the alarms in more sensible values, so that it is not sounding constantly.I do not need to know the exact value if it is not above or below reasonable values. In addition, I have replaced the usual sounds with a whistle like receiving a whatppp so that my mobile is not a fair

There is a known and already denounced failure between the internal Diabox server and the Garmin watches.Until they take new version, you will see the data on the smartphone but not in Garmin. We have already taken the updates to Android 14 since January and that the only Diabox version that works is the last published, June 2023

Hello.
I have the version of Android mobile, is 9, and the Diabox version is
2022.02.15_2_Beta (February 2022).
All this, in the day by day, gives me the data quite well, with this it is worth.
But, for sport it is useless.
My opinion is that with the community so immense that there are athletes with diabetes, they do not have technology adapted to it, it surprises me "a Monton".: s
I leave it here ......

care! That the forum closes us if Abbott sees that Garmin also connects

You would only miss it: S: o

Seeing the Abbott Spain website, where they advertise all the commitment they have with society (I think we are), and other sections that explain, I do not understand why they do not improve in technology towards the athletes with diabetes, they would win a great niche market, and with more brand collaboration which we use for our glucose controls.
It is not understood.

A question, these errors occur in all mobile phones, whether they are Android or Apple?

I simplify a lot.I put the mobile in the handlebar and so I carry the GPS with routes and the diabox singing.I leave without active insulin except the basal, and I have not had problems lately.

Taking it as you say, do you keep the mobile battery?

I understand that you are watching the gluco in the mobile, and also today, with the two applications with the new version of free link with the data at the time?

Can you also see it on the wrist watch?

Yes, I leave 100% battery and I see the Diabox value in the upper notification bar.
As an unemployment in traffic lights and crosses, I also take the opportunity to look at it better.
I can't tell you about ABBOTT applications, I can't use them, they can't be calibrate.
I also look at the clock, but I have more habit of looking at him on my mobile.

I haven't come the bike for a long time.

Hello,

I introduce myself, I am David, Duvi from now on.I am new here and I wanted to share with you my experience in cycling and diabetes.

I currently use Freestyle 3 and the YPSOPump pump with its closed handle system. As I am inveterate cyclist and I like the background and the ultrafond, bringing my glucose to hand is something primary. So use Garmin Fenix 7 xDrip. What I did to send the data to Garmin is to use as a companion app source and thus replicate the measures of the Camaps FX app in XDRIP and from there take them to the clock. On the clock use xDrip+/spike/Nightcout Widget on a single screen. And to do sports, I have the XDRIP+/Spike/Nightcout Datafield data installed.Normally I use it for Crossfit, walks ... etc.We only have to include the data field in the activity that we are going to do even if it takes me a delay of about 10 min while the real readings are every 3 and I do not finish finding the configuration. As long as I do not play sports, it is enough for me to move one of Garmin's spheres and I have the trend and glucose. My next project is to acquire the Garmin Edge 1040 Solar for the bike and install the same fields to directly take it to the front and not depend on the clock.

Kind regards!

I´m not defined by my diabetes

Good morning.

I ride a bike (MTB) and hiking.

Until recently I used a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier with the G-Watch App, until water entered this summer and I ran out of smartwatch.

Now I have passed to the Garmin family, and I carry a 6x Pro phoenix on the wrist and an Edge 530 on the bike, and I control my glycemia in this way:

In the Phoenix, I have installed the Dex CGM Watch Face screen, so that I always see the glycemia with value, trend and variation arrow since the last measure, continuously.Come on, just as I saw it before in the Samsung.
I also have the dexcgm Data Field data field installed, by the time I run or do Indoor cycle, stairs, hiking, etc ... thus I take the glycemia in view on all the screens of all activities as one more of the data fields (I always usually take centered and with a larger source than the rest).
I also carry a widget (Dex CGM Widget), but I usually consult little, since it does not give more information than I see continuously on the main screen next to the time and date.

In the EDGE 530 I have installed the same data field as in the Phoenix (Dexcgm Data Field), with the hiccup threshold something higher so as not to take scares. In this way, I see blood glucose at all times.

All the best.

A companion doubt.

All the glucose data that you usually have on the Samsung watch, and in the Garmin, (not yet being the same brand) do you receive them via Bluetooth of the freeLink2 Plus sensor ??

Do you put the insulin with bomb or bolis?

I don't know why I understood that the CGM - MGC application that detailed was only for the pump system and dextron sensor

Hello.
I usually bicycle, and various sports, and the truth that until today I carry a Mobile Huawei, with a headset that receives the data through the mobile with Diabox.

In the Garmin Edge Explore2 of the bicycle, there is no way for glucose data to be maintained in it, when it seems to him, in the middle of the glucose data a line comes out indicating that he does not receive Bluetooth data, and we already have the mess, to, to take mobile, scan again and again to function, we go a mess.

I am looking, in what way, I can dispose of a mobile, more wrist watch, and that can have the glucose levels at all times visible (on the clock), and with the least number of errors in receiving them, which will be difficult.

Several days ago I have been talking to a Mid Mark Samsung advisor from my area, and we have seen mobile phones and watch.
Within the mid -range mobiles, the Galaxy A56 5G.
And of the wach the watch 7, 44 mm/mm

These are the ones that have advised me.

It has told me that these models, they go perfectly with the applications of the freeLink / LibreLink 2 plus sensors,
They also tell me that I have several months to try and if I am not happy you can return them without problem.(Strange, truth)
Will it be so?

Some of you, who already have, and understand this, what do you think?

Where should I opt?

Thank you anticipated.
