Clicking insulin in the arm Grows the muscle?

Pablo Asturianin's profile photo   02/06/2021 4:03 p.m.

Less than 1 year ago I am diabetic, I started by clicking on my thigh and the truth in making a little effort I tire of this part.Well, a few weeks ago I started in the arms and it seems that they are swelling, growing the muscles.
It is a question that I have and I think it is real, I do not make much effort in my arms.
Thank you!

Well, it seems that it is not only perception. Link

Basically, what he says there ... depends on how you use insulin: the muscle or body grows fat.

@Ruthbia and @"Pablo Asturianin" my opinion based on my knowledge of sports and nutrition fan ...

Is insulin an anabolic hormone, can you help muscle growth?YEAH

Now, one thing is that it promotes muscle growth by being anabolic and another very different issue is that you grow the muscle where you click or become bodybuilders for externally putting a hormone that a normal person produces andours no ...

With what I mean ... that we are remeding that part that the body does not produce ... not that we are giving us a plus that makes our muscles grow more ...

I can assure you that for a diabetic it is even more complicated than their muscles grow because among others the muscle feeds on glycogen and well ... our levels go as they go.

I say again that it is the first time that I listen to that the muscle where you click you because I see it as say, that only the glucose of the body of the body where you click is normalized ... so that we also make a reflection onthat...

Greetings !

Thank you, of course it was a feeling that I had.Hehe at the end between the internet, ignorance and many more things ... a doubt comes out, that if I tell my educator hahaha he gives him a patatus for saying such barbarity. As on the road, the L, produces some errors.A diabetic with the first sensations can be confused.
In the end the forum, however rare that is a doubt to someone will serve you, not just me.

Greetings and thanks!

I do not puncture in my arms and have grown in my legs, only buttocks and lateral waist.
It is a perception.
I want to burn fat and there is no form, with the sport "I have grown" instead of meguar😞

It seems obvious, but the issue of burning fat depends more on one nutritionist than to exercise.

I have taken myself since the 16th entering Gym and I have always been "chubby" and until I have put the batteries with my diet I have not gone down.

Today I had revision with the endocrine and has told me that as I have controlled diabetes (Glico 6.1 and few hypos) that I stayed with my 12 kg of more and that I go to a psychologist 🤬🤬🤬🤬

As well, we are normal, vegetables, fruits, little protein and few fats, but everything accumulates, above all liquids. The keto diets are bad and intermittent fasting has a rebound effect.

I have taken 10 kg since 2015 that I debuted.

I have always heard that, that most people with DB1 fattened to get insulin, and it has never happened to me.I have been weighing more or less the same, between 56 and 60 kg and I measure 1.70.In fact, when I debuted with almost 4 years, it was a plump girl and when I started to put insulin, I threw a lot.If it is true that today with 30 years I am of non -flaquitas arms and legs precisely, which is just where more insulin click me, but I doubt that it has to do with that because in my family except my mother who is a noodle all are wide. How many happened to get fat since you have diabetes?

Endocrine are not nutritionists. They do not make you a study or anything .. they throw with printed leaves and end ...

Believe me when I tell you that if you go to a good professional you will lose weight.

@Ruthbia

Thousands of years ago your metabolic system was the best. With little food survival. But now that food is abundant is a problem.

I have a brother who has very little age difference with me.We ate the same and he was always chubby. As a child I hated me!
And now I understand.

The metabolism of each body can adapt a bit but it is what it is.

In any case, maybe apart from food the sport can help.Good hard spinning sessions of those of burning 500 calories help a lot.And if you do spinning regularly, it is best to vary because the body gets used to it and becomes efficient. The more varied the better.

All the best

I thought before knowing that it was diabetic I stayed in 54 (I lost because it was and did not know) and recovered them again. Now 19 years later weight 63 and my maximum has been 68.
Even having hypothyroidism I have not gained weight.I try to eat everything and I hit some whim, I love sweet, but always knowing how and when I do.
The kilos are more or less the same, but the body is not the same, the years pass for everyone.

I think it can be a mixture of metabolism and age.Over the years everything slows down and costs much more losing weight.
I have diabetes for 31 years and I have never noticed that insulin has made me fat, now, when I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism I went from 66 kg to 83 kg.Currently weight 72 kg even though I take great care and do sports at least 3 days a week and as soon as I take my beers and I am in ameba mode a couple of weeks, I begin to take weight.I do not blame it only to hypothyroidism, I believe that age also influences, of course, I find a lot more in form with 40 than with 20 even if I have a little overweight.

@Ruthbia the 12 kg that you have left over, has the doctor told you or is it what you consider according to your ideal weight? The BMI varies a lot.A person with a height of 1.67 for example what I am, to be in Normopeso can weigh from 52kg to 69kg.In the end, what marks the scale, is the least important I think. All the best.
