Hello everyone, about 4 months ago I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

My normal weight until that moment was about 90-85 kilos, which to measure 1.80, and doing little sport made me a person of normal complexion.With diabetes, I have stayed at 65 kilos, and with the food I have now, I am not able to climb a gram.

As for sport, I play padel 3-4 times per week, but I am, and above all I feel extremely thin, especially in the arms and legs, so I have decided that it is time to start gaining some muscle.

This is where the problem comes, I have no notions about bodybuilding, a problem that would not be so great if it were not because my diet is what is (1500 calorie menu that the endocrine gave me), and it also gives me a little scaryPut myself to lift dumbbells because I don't know how my body will react.

Here I throw the question, could anyone "guide" me how I should act to start gaining weight (muscle), and what things should you start putting into practice so that it was?

Well, to gain muscle you have to do the same as a person without diabetes: to make musculation regularly.Try to go to a gym if possible and advise you.Do at least 4 hours per week.

To the bodybuilding exercises you have to add proteins.The number one is the egg, followed by chicken and turkey.Also blue fish, salmon, mussels, etc.They are healthy protein sources without saturated fat.

Proteins do not have carbohydrates, although an excess can raise glycemia.That depends a lot on each body.There are people with diabetes q by doing musculation, glycemia rises and others like me who lowers us.You have to see how you react.But that is not an excuse for not doing musculation.

It is basically to make musculation regularly and increase the intake of healthy proteins.That is the idea.If you don't know how to do it, it is best to go to a gym and ask for advice (but not tones supplements, you are not going to compete and do not need them).

It is a horror that I read about the endocrine diet, I am sorry to tell you that you should consult a nutritionist who advises you well, but with my general knowledge I tell you that it is normal that you have lost weight with that diet.1500kcal are insignificant for the amount of exercise you do weekly.As you have told you with your weight and height you must reach at least 3000.
Regarding the exercise, I tell you that you should make muscles.It is very important to build muscle for our disease, helps reduce the necessary dose of insulin and improves time in long -term rank a barbarity.As a coach, I can advise you at least 2 days a week, whether at home, gym or park.I have several videos on YouTube with examples, and I am preparing several more, or I can also guide you with personalized routines.I have an agreement with another diabetic nutritionist to adapt your diet if you will need it.
