Arantxa Bujanda Sainz de Murieta, nurse of the Navarra Diabetes Association (ANADI) has won the National Prize for Research Vila Sablait for its end of master's job.

The work, entitled 'Proposal for Educational Intervention in Diabetes based on Gamification for Nursing Auxiliary Care Students ", has won the first prize in the IV Edition of the Nursing Investigation Awards Fundació Vila Saborit, which awards this entity together with theSagrat Cor University Hospital and the International University of Catalonia (IIC Barcelona).

The objective of these awards is to recognize young researchers who have demonstrated their capacity in the field of nursing sciences, enhance scientific paths of excellence, support research in the field of nursing and disseminate the investigation of said discipline.

The award -winning master work, led by María Chueca (endocrine doctor of the Hospital Complex of Navarra) and Elena Bujanda (professor at the School of Educators/s of Pamplona), is an innovative educational intervention for students of auxiliary nursing care in thethat a quasi-experience study will be carried out with two groups.

In some classes it is a traditional intervention based on talk-workshop and others, an escape room “diabescape”, the same contents but different methodology, so it will be to specify the evaluation to see the differences obtained in terms of satisfaction and knowledge.
