Hello for a couple of months I put 12 of Abasaglar at night.I started putting it in my belly and although it cost me a lot to prick because I have aversion to the needles, then it did not hurt. Now I have been clicking on the leg for a few weeks, it costs me less and the puncture or I notice, but when the insulin begins to enter it, there are days that I cannot even wait the 10 seconds with the needle inside because it hurts. And when I finish, my thigh hurts for a while. Is it normal?

You could have allergy to some component of the abasaglar insulin.
There are other more or less equivalent insulins (Lantus, Tresiba or Toujeo).
I recommend that you visit an allergologist and explain your problem.

It happens to me sometimes it is due to the speed with which the pen and the force with which it enters
