The Anedia association celebrated a playful day in Ponte Caldelas, focused on the world of equestrian.

Some 40 children from all over Galicia, suffering from type 1 diabetes, enjoyed various activities at the Atlantic Equestrian Center.

In addition to riding a horse, they will receive a course on the care, preparation and cleaning of these animals.

They also attended a equestrian exhibition in charge of the center's staff.

The activity took place throughout the morning yesterday.Subsequently, the 80 ane partners, celebrated a PIC NIC meal.

This initiative was sponsored by the La Caixa volunteer program, and is part of the annual ane program.

The objective of these activities is to raise awareness among children with type 1 diabete that the disease should not stop them to face all kinds of challenges.
