Several Atletico Valladolid players participated on Wednesday in one of the heart breakfasts, an activity included in the Health Market program organized alongside Valladolid Foods and the Val market.
They have done it together with the Diabetes Valladolid (Adiva) association, whose members have visited the VAL market and have been able to have breakfast with the players of the Asobal League team.
This activity aims to promote healthy habits, the consumption of fresh and quality products and the proximity trade.Wednesday's breakfast has been healthier yet since it has adapted for diabetics.
With the Health Market denomination, Atlético Valladolid has launched this 2017-2018 season a series of training, preventive and solidarity activities that aim to promote a cultural change for the development of healthy habits and practices by increasing physical activity and consumptionof fresh products, in order to prevent, decrease and reverse the advance of overweight, obesity and cardiovascular diseases and promoting and helping to market quality products, fresh offered by the VAL market, with the collaboration of food from food fromValladolid, brand promoted by the Diputación de Valladolid.
Health market actions also seek to publicize the Valladolid market, their daily lives and traditional and quality land products.
Together with the heart breakfasts, two more activities are also organized: Minichef del Val and one day in the market, three different options to approach the Val market and know the food of Valladolid.In 2017 there were about 400 people, including children and students from different educational centers, which have taken part in these initiatives since October.
