The Armando Manzanero is doing songs, not dealing with diseases, so he says that the diabetes he has suffered for 40 years is a "little mother" because he takes her wonderfully well, even, he confesses, that makes him sweeter.

Already more serious said that part of his health has to do with not giving the disease the tragic importance attributed to him by the world.

Armando Manzanero commented that "nothing can improve, or get worse," he also showed that he is a person who lives the present since the chronic disease he suffers is without care.

To show that he feels more vivacity than ever, Armando Manzanero said he was ready to give a show in his homeland, in the archaeological ruins of Chichen-Iteza.
