The situation was set on the table during the presentation of the celebration of World Diabetes Day, which promotes the Diabetics Organization of the Principality of Asturias (ASDIPAS), and which will take place next Monday in Navia and in the health area centersYO.
"Diabetes is growing in an unstoppable way. The first factor for this is aging of the population; although it also see how the main risk factor of type two diabetes increases, which is obesity," said Menéndez Torre, who pointed outthat the resources available to deal with pathology have diminished with the crisis."There are more and more diabetics, and yet we don't have more money," he said.
