Patients with diabetes organize a career to raise awareness about the importance of sport for prevention.
The Diabetes and the Diabetes of Madrid Foundation have organized the '6th race and popular walk for diabetes and expodiabetes', with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of physical exercise as a prevention measure for both type 1 patientsand 2, which will take place on December 19 at 09:30 hours in the West Park.
"We want to attract attention to prevent it we know that healthy activity and exercise daily allows a prevention of type 2 diabetes, as well as allows type 1 control," said the foundation manager, Ana Mateo, during thePress conference held on Wednesday at the Women's Institute.
