Good morning @"ajm".I debuted at 46.Welcome to the forum and here the first thing you learn is that each diabetic is a world. For example, I remain as healthy as always, more than 10 years ago I don't give me a cold.Exception of hypoglycemia ... I believe that those of recent debut have not yet developed any complication derived from diabetes and we would be with the health we had before diagnosis.Greetings.

Debut 46 â- 2012. DM1. Celiaquía e intolerancia lactosa. Anemia perniciosa.

Hello ajm.I am Carmen, 42.Debut a year and a half ago .. Welcome to the forum.I have a lot to enter here and participate. You realize that you are not alone and you learn a lot.And I think that having knowledge of the disease is essential to know how to take it.I recommend a lot of patience and perspective. There are bad ... yes ... but there are also good days ... I'm glad to say that in my case ... most are good ... the issue of weight ... is a roll .. but I thinkYou also learn to stay in an ideal weight with satisfactory glucose levels ... I am learning ... but I know I will achieve it.I recommend daily exercise (even if it's just a quick half an hour) and read a lot .. learn.Try not to demand too much to yourself ... Understand that we are not machines ... that it will not always leave as we want ... and always go ahead ... with a lot of strong and fight .. as in everything in life... I think that having a life rich in hobbies .. friendships etc .. helps to disconnect from ennelling ... always the diabet has to be present .. but not in our noses .. rather .. observe it by the corner of the corner of theEye .. but always observe it ... a hug and encouragement

And so I'm doing well ... In any case I understand what is going body is a world ... but do not get tired of trying different things ... until you find the one that is doing well to you... I am now starting to drink a spoon of oatmeal with a culin of milk ... I take it into account for hydrates but they say it is good to maintain glucose levels .. I take it at breakfast food and dinner ... II sat down a lot and for the moment I avoid hypos .... well ... I hope and help you in something ... I'm really novata novaya ... a hug and cheerful

@"ajm" welcome to the forum.I feel identified with you.I also debut at an age outside of all forecast, I have never been sick and I gained weight; It has cost me enough to accept it and every day there is something new that dislodges me.

I hate sport, but I walk the days I can at a good step.He also entered hiccups, so before leaving I see my glucose.Below 140 I am lightly light with hydrate and I leave an hour.I take sugar or candies in case it gives me a hypo on my walk.
If you do sports regularly, you manage to find yourself better and need less fast and slow insulin every day.It is a great advantage.

I encourage and forward, we have all achieved it, you too.

Hello :-)
You cannot generalize: there are those who can go to exercise with 90 and a little fruit, as @"Carmen1975" says, and there are those who need to go out with more than 150 and if it is more than half an hour walking, go to eat;It is my case many days, I have almost no reservations.I was to walk hours through the mountain;to skate during an average of 1.5-2 hours every day three or four times a week.To go on the middle street jumping ... now I can only walk 30 minutes a day: when I walk more (45, an hour and fourth) I walk with a lot of danger.Of course: I travel by bike and walk everywhere, go up and low stairs, I move in other ways.
So it is about seeing how one reacts, deciding whether or not, or wants or not risking according to what vital things, if you need an hour of such sport or such another, how you feel inside your body, with allYour needs, values, interests, tastes ... and little by little you find your more or less dynamic balance.
What is worth one person does not have to be worth another; What can be great for someone can be unpleasant or dangerous for another. One thing is that the exercise is positive to generate endorphins and to lose weight (in my case it is not so, I should not lose weight, I really have difficulty fattening), the movement is life, but some we move much without "going out to do sports fromestablished as standard ".And another thing is that we macked for a must -like sport without hurting or hurting us.

Hugs

Good Yo debut 3 years ago with 47 years of age and the same thing happened to me that said that at this age it is rare to be type.1.But that is what there is, the doctor told me that the 47 years I was without diabetes that is what wins because in principle it is usually diabetic with the first years of life bone to 13 or 15 approx.Positive side now we are a little better in the media than if we have debuted for a few years.
Encouragement and luck
