This is a fast action insulin that is used before meals in patients suffering from diabetes mellitus. This insulin has a powder presentation and is managed through an inhaler. It is undoubtedly an option that wide the range of possibility of administering insulin in a much more comfortable, more independent and less traumatic way than the options that are so far.

It can be used in both types of diabetes. It is an insulin of human origin (recombinant RNA), of rapid action and with the design of the applicator called Tchnosphere, makes the administration of the medication much more comfortable. The mechanism of this updated drug is the application of the drug through an inhalation applicator, similar to that used for the administration of corticosteroids in pulmonary pathologies treatments, to get insulin particles to pass from inhalation to the lungsAnd from there to the bloodstream where they would begin its effect
The novel and updated insulin administration system is called Afrrezza and is about to be launched to the market although quality controls are still happening in the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).For now it is an insulin that remedies all the inconveniences that the anterior pressurized insulin caused. The first inhaled insulin was therefore in market in 2006 with the exubera name, and was so disastrous that it was withdrawn by the potential health risks

What I read in American forums is that it is very good to avoid peaks, but just as it enters fast, it also comes out fast, which is a disadvantage if you eat meals with many fats.
