Diabetes and sex

Hello, the first thing, say that I need someone to guide me on this issue. The second, I hope my case is isolated.

I am a girl, I am 19 years old and I had never cared the slightest sex.I lost my virginity at 17 without feeling anything but well, was it normal, right?I would not do it more than six times in these two years, without feeling any pleasure or pain.

A few months ago I have a partner again and this has become something that has begun to worry, since it is no longer "normal."

I have to add as a fact that having diabetes for me is totally traumatic since the moment of diagnosis (2011) and I have never had good control over it.Right now I find myself at 11.3%.

The rule is also super irregular, becoming 9 months without it, 5, 6 ...

I feel nothing in my sexual relations, it is no longer that I do not reach orgasm, it is that the only thing I notice is that I have something inside and, up to there, any kind of pleasure, not even pain.Thinking one day I conclude that it could be part of a bad control of diabetes, and as always, the Internet does not help to calm down in these cases, so I decided to go here with the hope that they could clarify these doubts or tell mePersonal experiences.

I am not going to say that I am afraid, but it scares me to think that with 19 years diabetes can cause irreversible damage like this in my body.

Thanks for your time.

Hello @"Eva A" Don't worry.Diabetes does not affect sexual relations.
The rule looks like polychist ovaries, consult with a gynecologist.
Sexual pleasure has a lot to do with the "head" and preparation before intercourse.
With 19 years and few experience is normal what you tell. Many has happened to us.The sex seen in movies is that, movie.Vaginal orgasm is difficult, Clitorian is more common.

I would tell you that you talk to friends and that they tell you.You can also go to a sexual educator.

The important thing is that you are well with yourself.
Diabetes is a pain.I've only been 2 years and I don't get used to it .... but I get it well with a lot of control.

Animate, you will see how you enjoy everything.

@"Eva A" Don't overwhelm! As Ruthbia says, it has nothing to do with diabetes, you are very young and with those age I think we enjoyed sex.Having orgasms is not easy, you have to know your body well and know what you like and what you don't.I also had seasons of very bad control and never affected the livid so surely what happens to you is something psychological and of little experience. If you are already mentally conditioned to be a failure, it will be, believe me.
Talk to your friends, share experiences, and try to meet you a bit and see what you like.

All the best!

Thank you very much :)

Thank you very much girls, because I really didn't know who to go and that outside the diabetes I was very worried

Friend Eva, welcome to the forum, and I do not think to be the most suitable person to advise you, but within my experience I will try to give you some information, based on data, collected from books and magazines, generally the woman takes longer to achieve sexual maturity, let's sayAnother way to enjoy sex, do not praise diabetes, diabetes influences but in the long term and it is not your case, you can have ovulation problems of there the absence of rules, on the other hand tell you, that you must experiment withYour body, that helps, dares masturbation helps to meet you and enjoy more sex, it may also be that your partner is imprepèrta, and then you get everything together, anyway, do not obsessions, sex is something natural and as suchYou must take it, but do not praise it to diabetes, and in the last place you can always consult with a specialist, in case there were any kind of problem not attributable to diabetes.all the best.

Forgive girls, but I agree with Maria Elena, that 11 hemoglobin does have to do with the absence of the rule and bouncing with the quality of sex, and I tell you from personal experience after 23 years with diabetes and with12 hemoglobins and now with 7 ... the rule was gone for months because with hemoglobin so high you will surely have episodes with acetone (and surely do not notice because the body is used to it), and with high levels of sugar especiallyBefore sex not lubricas as you would normally do it being the not so pleasant experience.Everything influences diabetes, my personal recommendation is that you lower hemoglobin as soon as possible and visit the Diabetological Educator (nurse specialized in diabetes or doctor) and the gynecologist (to rule out any other problem).

Cheer up!At first it will be hard but it is possible !!

We are talking about a girl who is diabetic for just 6 years so I doubt a lot that a bad diabetes control can affect her sexual life @"alba" and @"Maria Elena" for alleged that should begin to control their level ofHemoglobin, that is something primary but in this case it is practically impossible for the problem to come from diabetes.

I think as @"nigiri", it has more to do with the youth and inexperience of both than with problems associated with diabetes.
I debuted with 13 of Hemo and I have not had any problems in my relationships during the 3 months that I take to regulate.
The absence of rule is usually by polycystic ovaries. It is common in women and that a gynecologist sees it in a simple vaginal ultrasound.I am surrounded by friends with this problem, a satisfactory sex life and are not diabetic.

It is important that hemoglobin goes down to avoid sequelae derived from diabetes, but I think that over the years and practice it will reach a very, very healthy and pleasant sexual life.
