Badalona will be the headquarters of the XIV Congress of the Catalan Association of Diabetes (ACD), which will bring 270 professionals these March 16 and 17 at the Badalona Convention Center (BCIN).
The Congress is organized by the Endocrinology and Nutrition Service of the Germans Trias I Pujol Hospital, with the aim of discussing the latest advances in the treatment of diabetes and dealing with issues such as the combination of new drugs or the use of new technologies inCommunication with patients.
The meeting will be attended by prestigious professionals in the scientific field such as Amanda Jimenez of the Barcelona Clinical Hospital, Óscar Moreno of the General University Hospital of Alicante and Jorge Ferrer of the Imperial College of London.
The official inauguration of the Congress will take place this March 16 and will be carried out by the mayor of Badalona, Dolors Sabater;of the president of the ACD, Albert Goday and the president of the Organizing Committee, Manel Puig Domingo.
The conference that will open the cycle of talks in the BCIN will be that of “Management and Diabetes: the school of Barcelona, 30 years later” ‘, by the clinical endocrinologist of the Hospital de Sant Pau de Barcelona, Rosa Corcoy.
