Hello everyone..

I am new and I would like to recommend some fruit juice to prepare in the mornings ...

Ideally, you have tried it because those I have read on the Internet do not give me confidence.

Thank you,

Hello and welcome @"fedor2333", I do not take any fruit because they raise glycemia a lot and give me a belly pain because I think I have a bad absorption of fructose/sorbitol.But from what I have read, the fruits better not take them in juice because they have a greater glycemic index than the whole fruit.Greetings.

The juices upload glucose very quickly, are usually taken in moments of hypoglycemia ..

The problem is that there is no insulin in the market with enough quickly to cover the glycemic index of juice ... prepare for good spikes.

It is very sad that in 2017 we are like that, but it is what there is.

PS: I take it the same, I already spent ...

I do not take it because glycemia rises a lot and at breakfast we all have greater insulin resistance with what will upload a good difficult peak to go down.

If you need to take fruit, better an apple. It is the least uploaded and before.

I get any juice very quickly if I take it alone, and if it is packaged with sugar or tell you.

But at breakfast many times I take natural orange juice (an orange approx-two vessel) or mixture of grapefruit and orange (one in each) along with two integral biscottes;I inject the insulin or at the beginning or at the end (it depends on the initial blood glucose) and does not make me peaks.

As for insulin resistance at breakfast, as @ruthbia says, it is not my case;Sometimes it makes me peaks, if as white bread, for example; But with my usual integrals I have no peak.On the other hand, some meals at noon do make me spikes more easily than with breakfast.

Wow, there is not a fixed rule, we have a variety:-P
So if I take juice, I prefer it natural and mixed with some slower glycemic climb.

Thank you all for your answers ... I think that at the moment I will refrain from taking juices because for what I see is not highly recommended
