Diabetes is one of the most common diseases worldwide, especially in developed countries.Eating habits have caused that in addition to type 1, the incidence of type 2 or acquired diabetes is increasing, although recent investigation can turn to that data.

British scientists have identified a new type of diabetes, the 3C type, incorrectly diagnosed as type 2 so far.Not being present from birth, doctors usually take for granted that they already know and handle, but it is not so.

The peculiarity of type 3C diabetes is that it is not easy to diagnose, as it occurs as a result of diseases that affect the pancreas. The inflammation of this organ or pancreatitis is the most common cause, in addition to surgery that affects it to it.

Virtually all people who suffer from it need insulin, unlike what happens with type 2 diabetes. The problem is that only 2% of the two million paciences that make up the sample of the study were correctly diagnosed by theircorresponding doctors.

Experts from the University of Surrey warn of the need to modify the diagnostic protocol to adapt it to this new reality. They indicate that perhaps many of the patients suffering from type 2 diabetes can be framed within 3C and need insulin recurrently.

Some of the treatments used so far may not be effective with this new type, a challenge for medicine and the health system of all countries that must be faced as soon as possible. In addition, other alternative remedies such as cocoa or olive oil would have no effect.

In any case, it is always advisable to follow the advice of your doctor regardless of whether or not you agree.

It is quite interesting, there are still many things that we do not know about diabetes.
I am reading a book now in which he says that a diet rich in sugars and refined flours in pregnant women in the last 6 months predisposes the child throughout his life to obesity and diabetes.During those months the baby's pancreas is being formed and already secretes insulin and if blood comes with high glucose, it has to make an extra effort and not yet being well formed causes you problems for life.Perhaps some cases of diabetes come for this predisposition. The causes should be more investigated in order to intervene before they occur because the same as many cases are avoidable.
