For the fifth consecutive year Sanofi has organized the ‘Type 1 diabetes challenge’ challenge, an initiative that is carried out with the collaboration of the World Diabetes Tour and Sweet association, a world consortium of reference centers in pediatric diabetes.

This year's challenge has consisted of a trekking along the spectacular places of Iceland to end up climbing Hekla, a volcanic system about 40 kilometers long and seven wide.It is one of the most active volcanoes in Iceland.
