My name is Ana and yesterday I discovered this forum for Google and here I am !!I am 31 years old and I am type 1 diabetics since I have 3, a lot of years ago!Unfortunately yesterday I received a letter saying that I have retinopathy and the truth is that I need all possible help to take it because I am living in London for 3 years and here I feel quite alone sometimes ...
Anyway, I will go through here when I can do you to meet you!
Welcome @anasyx! How ugly that of retinopathy, but well I suppose that if they take it in time, they treat it and control glucose, it does not have to go more.I am "Yogurt" as they say, so I don't speak much, but I learn a lot, surely you have a lot to contribute!

Well Ana if you have been diagnosed in time with sugar regulation is improved. I was diagnosed with me 8 years ago and in one eye they already made me laser and ocular pinxazo and now improving the vision almost 100%100%
Welcome @anasyx they discovered it earlier this year and the truth was that it was a palazo but thanks to the tips that gave me here I am quite calm.In my case they told me that after so many years of diabetes, in my case 26, that it was normal but that it was very slight and that if I kept taking care of me I would have no problem. All the best!
It is hopeful for many of us to read what you tell that after so many years with type 1 diabetes you only have a slight retinopathy, and that before there were no means that are now for better control.
Thanks for the advice and the darements !!I still don't know about "mild" is my retinopathy, I wanted to go to the doctor's doctor today, but I got up with a hiccup of being in my world for a while and the query time has spent, tomorrow I will try beforeto go to work ...
Much encouragement @anasyx caught in time a retinopathy does nothing really happen, a scare and try to bring controls as well as possible. Do not stop treating it as soon as possible. Fight for your illusions, fight for your life, fight because sweets we have to be warriors, warriors who sometimes fall, but we have to get up and not stop looking for our dreams and illusions. For all champion !!!!!
