In an interview, he said that obtaining two awards "walking to excellence" in these programs, is due to the work they have carried out in the present administration, in the sense of attending chronic diseases.

He mentioned that in the case of Diabetes Mellitus, state health services have worked on the update of first -level doctors of care in what is said condition.

They also seek to keep patients with the best attachment to treatment and guaranteeing medical supply, said the goal is that 52 percent of the 60,000 patients are controlled.

The specialist of the State Ministry of Health said the objective is that patients are below the goals with which they entered by diabetes, since this leads to less complications in the future.

Hernández Tirado explained that in the case of aging, they have as a result of the program in the field that in prostatic hyperplasia is the first place in that detection in 2015 when registering 232 thousand 859 people.

Also in relation to the walk of the older adult, which is more difficult, the prevention of falls with 90 thousand 509 people is detected.

In the case of urinary incontinence, he indicated that there are 90 thousand 682 people;in cognitive impairment, 221 thousand 789 people, while in depression of the elderly with 232 thousand 802 people.

He emphasized that these are the indicators that monitor to obtain these awards, that is, in patient control and care achievements, the supply of medicines and review, in the case of aging is that this sector is active and healthy, in addition, in additionof attending the diseases they have.
