Elevise Diabetes Care will present at the next Annual Congress of the European Society for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) in Munich, its new contour meter NEXT One and the new Aceur Diabetes application.

Elevise Diabetes Care is developing the concept of technology use, connected devices and applications for diabetes management through this blood glucose monitoring system similar to other companies in the sector, although with their particularities.

Both announced systems are designed to offer patients information that helps them understand the impact of their daily lives on their blood glucose levels.

the new meter

The new contour meter Next One has an improved algorithm, with an accuracy in the measurement in which according to its official website, it can be trusted. One of the novelties of the Diabetes Care Ascension Meter is the improvement in the function of the second sampling opportunity. If the first drop of blood is not large enough, you can recharge a second time in the same strip in the next 60 seconds.

Contour Next One has an intelligent light function that shows directly after measurement a red color if there is hypo, a yellow light if there is hyperglycemia and a green light if there is normoglycemia.

the app

Elevise Diabetes Care also bets with the contour Next One for monitoring continues and connectivity. In the same way that companies such as Lifescan or Menarini have done, Elevise also launches the APP Contour Diabetes. The Contour Next One meter will be connected through Bluetooth ® wirelessly with the smartphone and the AUBu Contour Diabetes.

Elevise Diabetes Care will participate in a meeting on September 14, along with international experts in diabetes, to discuss the future of the treatment of the disease and how technology can help deal with the needs of professionals and people with diabetes.Among other issues, during the event, the role of smartphones in the management of the disease and the way in which the interconnected management of diabetes can meet the needs of health professionals and people with diabetes will be discussed.
