It will be held on June 18 and 19 in Las Rozas.Eighty children with diabetes between 8 and 12 years throughout Spain will meet on June 18 and 19 at the 'V Diabetes Cup Spain', a football tournament organized by Lilly in Las Rozas (Madrid) with the endorsement of theSpanish Diabetes Federation (Fede).

This tournament pursues, according to its promoters, the social normalization of diabetes, inspired by the sport values to create a coexistence forum for these children and promote healthy lifestyle habits.

In fact, sometimes children with diabetes are far from the daily activities of their classmates for their illness, when they can actually exercise and enjoy children's celebrations as well as their friends adapting their food and controlling their physical activity.

For this reason, Lilly, with the endorsement of the Fede, celebrates the 'V Diabetes Cup' next weekend, which will take place at the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation in Las Rozas.

Although about 10,000 children under 15 have diabetes in Spain, many of them do not know other children in their same situation, so this type of celebrations become an occasion for children and their families to share experiences.
